The currency you see on our site depend on the shipping country you have chosen in the country selector. The shipping country automatically sets the currency, and it is not possible to choose to pay in a different currency. Shipping charges are calculated and added at checkout.
Happy Socks is not responsible for any changes in currency value or conversion rates that your bank or credit card company may use when charging in your country’s currency.
For all countries within the European Union, the VAT is included in the price and there are no customs or import charges.
Depending on the value, orders to countries outside the European Union may be subject to import VAT, customs duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your parcel reaches your country (not applicable for orders placed on our US website). We ship your parcel according to Incoterm Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) and we cannot predict what your individual charges may be.

If you refuse a high value package, the package will be returned to us. We will then charge you AUD 75 / 55 CHF / 50 GBP / 6,800 JPY / 65,000 KRW / NOK 500 / 50 USD in shipping/handling, return, and administrative fees, which will be deducted from your refund.
Australia
If your international purchase is above AUD 1,000, you will be required to pay import VAT, customs duties and/or taxes. You can find more information here.
Japan
If your international purchase is above 10,000 JPY, you will be required to pay import VAT, customs duties and/or taxes. You can find more information here.
Norway
You pay Norwegian VAT when you place the order on our site, meaning that your order arrives in Norway fully cleared by customs. This way you avoid paying customs fees and import VAT when you receive the goods. Please note that this applies to orders with a value of up to NOK 3,000. For orders with a value above NOK 3,000, you will have to pay the fees and Posten's customs clearance price. You can read more on Postens website.
UK
If the purchase is above 135 GBP, it will be subject to import VAT, customs duty and fees. You can find more information here.
US
There are no customs or import charges within the United States. However, Happy Socks charges the appropriate state and local sales tax based on the shipping address of your order. The sales tax will be calculated and displayed on the checkout page once you have filled in the shipping address. The applicable tax is based on your ZIP Code.
You can choose to pay with the most common payment methods (Visa, Mastercard and PayPal) on all our websites.
We also offer several local payment methods depending on your shipping country. You can see all the payment methods available for your specific country on the payment section of the checkout page.
The total amount of your order will be withdrawn from your account when the order is completed and approved.
All transactions are handled by Adyen international payment services. Your credit card number is sent to your bank via an encrypted connection. Adyen is fully PCI Level 1 compliant and monitored by Trustwave, an ASV and a QSA for the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. Adyen is registered and monitored by the Dutch Central Bank as a payment institution under the European Payment Service Directive (PSD, 2007/64/EC). As a principal member and licensed acquirer of Visa and MasterCard, Adyen also adheres to the schemes’ operating regulations.
If you want to apply a discount code to your order, you can do so by entering it in the "Add a discount code" field in your shopping cart. Please make sure that there are no additional spaces before or after.
Enter the code, click on "Apply" and your discount will be shown below and reflected in the total order value.
Discount code not working?
If your code isn't working, please check the below:
• Discount codes are only applicable on regular priced products and not on already discounted ones
• They can not be combined with other offers and will not apply on Limited/Special Editions
• You can only use one discount code per order
• Each discount code will have specific terms and conditions. When you receive a code, make sure to check as some may only be valid for certain items and the majority of codes will have an expiry date. You will find the terms and conditions in the same place you found the code (i.e. in the email or on our website).
